Solution

Patient called XMD and gave detailed history to the examining physician.

Outcome

Since he was able to have daily follow-up and wound check, all prescriptions were avoided as he showed daily improvement with over the counter medications. Had the patient begun to show signs of infection, onsite antibiotics could have been administered at any time by the treating XMD physician. A recordable incident was avoided.
