Patient was exposed to chemicals while working. Two days later, he developed a blistering rash with associated burning and itching.
Patient called XMD and gave detailed history to the examining physician.

Patient diagnosed with contact dermatitis. With proper wound care and over the counter medications, all prescriptions were avoided. Proper education was given to the patient with regards to the specific chemical that he encountered. Had the patient begin to show signs of worsening or signs of infection, onsite medications could have been administered by the treating XMD physician. A recordable incident was avoided.
